I am making this proposal in response to seeing our society not supporting activities such as skateboarding, rollerblading and bmx-ing, which challenge the individual physically, mentally and emotionally but are viewed as ‘outlawed’ sports.

I am proposing to start a skatepark and after-school program located in or around San Francisco. The skatepark would be open everyday and accommodate a children’s program in the afternoon and evenings on schooldays, including but not limited to, meals, quiet rooms and creative rooms. The after-school program could be serviced by shuttle school buses, opening the area served to the East Bay and Peninsula as well as any part of San Francisco.

I have been in touch with lawyers who have said this was a great idea and want to help me. I've asked these lawyers to help in grant finding and research, locations and so forth in getting this under way. I have not had the greatest of luck. I now go to the community for who this could directly effect. The amount is impressive to get an idea like this under way, so what I ask is for information, donations or research help with this project. This can be a wonderful addition to the SF and Bay Area to keep kids involved in these activities out of harms way. I appreciate your time. Godspeed in all your endevours.
